Yard Waste permits are available for the Nahant Street pit to Wakefield Residents Only. Permits can be purchased for $25.00 at the Town Hall Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Positive identification is required at the time of purchase and each time
the resident uses the pit. Permits MUST BE RENEWED ANNUALLY. The permit allows disposal of leaves, grass clippings, shrubs and brush.
