The Parking Clerk is a civilian appointed and supervised by the Wakefield Board of Selectmen to handle parking enforcement issues and the disposition of parking violations. Citizens having questions on the procedures for parking violations may call the Parking Clerk for hearings or meetings.
The Town of Wakefield has an "All Night Parking Ban" which is enforced from December 1, to April 1, each year. "All Night Parking" is defined in the Traffic Rules and Orders as parking " on any street for a period of time longer than one ( 1 ) hour between the hours of 1:00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M.of any day."
