The Town Accountant manages the Town's internal and external financial reporting function; preparing the weekly payroll and expenditure warrants; examines all bills and payrolls for compliance with approved appropriations and contracts; provides support to other Town departments preparing budgets and reviewing expenditures; and reconciles cash, investment receivable balances with the Town's Treasurer and Collector.
